Mrs. Helen E. (Thoennes) Morris, 65, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was a patient since Sept. 12. She was in failing health several years.

She was a life resident of Lafayette, and lived with a sister, Mrs. Frank J. Carr, at 11 S. 27th St. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Surviving with the sister is a brother, Albert Thoennes, of Lafayette.
