Mrs. Cathern B. Carr, 86, of 11 S. 27th St., died in her home early today, following a seven-month illness.

A life-time resident of Lafayette, she was married in 1918 to Frank J. Carr, who died in 1946. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Miril Raymond (Alice) Heninger of Lafayette.
