Dominic Loutsch, 80, of Remsen died September 19, 1972 at Marcus, Iowa.
Rosary will be Wednesday at 3 and 8 p.m. by the parish and at 9 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus at the Fisch funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church in Remsen with Rt. Rev Msgr. Frank P. schultes officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Dominic was born Jan. 13, 1892 at Remsen to John and Susanna (Hansen) Loutsch. He was the fifth of their 10 children.
On February 9, 1915, Dominic married Catherine Niehus in Remsen, Iowa.
Dominic was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Luxembourg Brotherhood of America. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife; six sons, Vernon of Le Mars, John, Gene, Arthur, Dale and Paul, all of Remsen; five daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Delores) Groepper, Mrs. Emmert (Norma) Tentinger and Mrs. Kenneth (Kathleen) Groepper, all of Remsen, Mrs. Farrell (Colette) Wright of Moville, Mrs. Mike (Alice) Seuntjens of Kingsley; 49 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Emil and Mike, both of Oyens, and a sister, Mrs. Nick Ruba of Remsen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Andrew, John, and Andrew J. Loutsch; sisters; Mary Schroeder, Anna Conrad, and Margaret Ritz.
