REMSEN PAIR WEDDED
Felix Kunkel and Mary Thill Are United In Marriage

Remsen Bell-Enterprise: Another prominent young couple was united in marriage at St. Mary's church this week when the Rev. H. J. Schleier officiated at the ceremony in which Miss Mary Thill and Felix Kunkel were united in the holy bonds Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock.

The couple was attended by Miss Carolyn Kunkel, a sister of the groom, and Elmer Miller, a cousin of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white satin with net and lace trimming, and wore a tulle veil in crown effect with orange blossoms and rhinestones. She wore a string of pearls which was a gift by the groom and carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid wore a dress of peach colored satin and georgette, trimmed with rhinestones, and wore hat and shoes to match. She carried a bouquet of roses. The groom and best man wore blue.

Immediately after the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride's parents east of town, where an elaborate breakfast was served for a large number of relatives and friends. The dining room was decorated prettily in the bride's colors of white and peach and a large wedding cake graced the center of the table. At noon a dinner was served. Table honors were performed by the Misses Dorothy Kunkel, Josephine and Kathryn Thill, Eleanor and Evelyn Ludwig and Rosel Rolling.

Relatives and friends were entertained throughout the afternoon and evening, the older folks being entertained at cards and visiting, while in the evening the young people enjoyed dancing, music being furnished by Becker's orchestra.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Thill, of Remsen, prominent farmers of this community. She was born and reared on a farm near Remsen and spent all her life in this vicinity. She is an admirable young woman with many friends, who join in extending their best wishes for a happy wedded life. The bridegroom also comes from a prominent family of this vicinity, being a son of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Kunkel, of near Le Mars. He also was born in this community and has always been a real dent hereabouts. He is a popular and respected young man and well worthy of the excellent bride he has chosen.

Mr. and Mrs. Kunkel left yesterday afternoon on a honeymoon trip, going by auto. They will visit relatives in the vicinity of Dell Rapids and Mitchell, S. D., and will be at home after October 15, on a farm owned by the groom's father, five miles southwest of Remsen.
