Wayne Keller Tuttle 1919 ~ 2008 Wayne Keller Tuttle passed away peacefully on November 23, 2008 in Orem, incident to age.

He was born November 22, 1919 in Manti, Utah, a son of Lloyd Wayne and Vera Dorothea Keller Tuttle. He married Ruth Jensen on July 25, 1946 in the Manti LDS Temple. They spent 62 wonderful years together. He retired from Brigham Young University as Auxiliary Maintenance Foreman. Wayne was a master carpenter, whose love of wood working and gardening touched many lives. He served a mission to the Western Canadian Mission. Wayne, Ruth and family fulfilled a labor mission to New Zealand and a restoration mission to Nauvoo. Wayne and Ruth supervised the building of the Manilla, Philippines Temple. Their last mission was spent in Israel at The BYU Jerusalem Center. Wayne held many callings throughout his life and served his church faithfully. He especially enjoyed working as a temple worker in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples. Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, endless optimism and tireless work ethic.

Survivors include his wife Ruth, of Orem; their five children, Eric (Mary) Tuttle, of Orem; Laura (Louis) Erickson of Orem; Dale-deceased (Becky) Tuttle, of Orem; Karen (Gene) Robison of Orem; and Glen (Eileen) Tuttle of Alpine, UT. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren as well as his two sisters Mrs. Norma Erickson of Bountiful; and Delma (Paul) Dyreng of Gunnison, UT.

Funeral services will be held Wed., October 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Hillcrest 8th Ward Chapel, 1035 S. 800 E., in Orem. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State St., Orem, and also Wed. 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS General Missionary Fund.
