Kane News -- William Tillman Loy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Loy, was born at Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 27, 1858, departed this life at the home of son Oliver, Feb. 19, aged 70 years, 5 months and 22 days. He came to Jersey County with his parents in 1865. Funeral services were held from the home of Oliver Loy east of Kane, Feb. 21, at 10 a.m. Services were conducted by Elder T. J. Roady. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
