OBITUARY:
Nellie Angeline Frank, 92, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 1991, at home. She was born in Kane on Aug. 2, 1898, daughter of the late William T. and Eliza A. (Portwood) Loy. Her husband, Edwin Harrison Frank, died in June 1941.
Surviving are five daughters, Wilma Rogers, Annie Cope and Nellie Barrett, all of Jerseyville, Jessie Goewey of Chillocothe and Mary Kuehnel of Alton; five sons, Clinton, Joseph and Louis Frank, all of Jerseyville, William Frank of Mount Olive and George Frank of Godfrey; 32 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, 52 great-grandchilden; 12 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a step-great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Frank Loy of Jerseyville.
A great-grandson, four sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. by Jerseyville Rebekah Lodge 263, of which she was a member. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Jerseyville, with the Rev. Grant Jensen officiating. Burial is in Kane Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the church, where she was a member.
