Lifelong Resident Of Princeville Passes Away; Rites Today

Ella Janette Bush, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Wakefield Bush, was born in Jubilee Township March 26, 1864 and passed away in her home south of Princeville Tuesday morning at the age of 87 years and three months. She had been in failing health for sometime and bedfast for the past three months.
She was united in marriage to Vaughn Bouton in Peoria in 1881. To this union one son, Walter G. was born. With the exception of eight years spent in Bedford, Ia., she had resided all her life in the Princeville vicinity.
For the past 39 years she has resided on the same farm, where she passed away. Since the death of her husband 11 years ago her son has been assisting with the farm work. She was the last member of a family of 12 children.
Her husband preceded her in death December 12, 1940.
She is survived by her son, Walter, four grandchildren, Mrs. Lois Libby of LaSalle, Mrs. Luella Barron of Milwaukee Wis., Cecil and Elvin Bouton of Princeville; also five great grandchildren, Cecil Libby and Anita and Mary Ellen Barron of Waukegan, Mrs. Dolores Evans of Ottawa, Terry Ray Libby of LaSalle and Carolyn Jean Bouton of Princeville, one great-great grandchild, Joseph Evans of Ottawa, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives.
She was a devoted wife and mother. Her cheerful disposition gained her a large circle of friends and she will be greatly missed in her home and in the community.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Bouton Memorial home with Rev. Arnold Dalzell in charge. Mrs. Franchon Hill presided at the organ. She was laid to rest in the Princeville cemetery. Cecil, Elvin and Gerald Bouton, Joseph Evans and Richard Barron were the pallbearers.
