DIES IN CANADA
Charles A. Bush, 86, formerly of this community and a native of Jubilee township, passed away November 7 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, where he had been receiving treatment. The older people will well remember the family of which he was a member. His only remaining sister, Mrs. Ella Bouton, still resides south of town.
Mr. Bush, son of Andrew and Elizabeth Wakefield Bush, born August 14, 1862 in Jubilee township, one of a family of eleven children.
November 19, 1891, he and Susanna B. Klink were united in marriage at Princeville. The following spring they moved to Bedford, Ia., where he was engaged in farming. Later they moved to a farm near Colony, Kan., staying a few years then selling and going to Ogema, Sask., Canada, to make a permanent home. Mr. and Mrs. Bush were parents of eight children, namely; Luella Grainger, Violet B. Rose and Edgar Bush of Ogema; Ethel E. Webster of Regina, Sask.; George D. Bush and Velma S. Canbrough of Carragana, Sask., and Elizabeth L. Fish of Victoria, B.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, his parents and all but one of his brothers and sisters. Surviving are the seven children, twenty four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, besides his one sister, Mrs. Ella Bouton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 10, at 2:30 in the afternoon with interment in the Ogema cemetery.
