Walter G. Bouton, the son of Vaughn G. Bouton and Ella L. Bush, was born July 22, 1882, at Bedford, in Taylor County, Ia.
He was married January 25 1918, to Mary Nave in Bedford. A farmer throughout his lifetime, he farmed five miles south of Lenox after leaving Bedford. The last 28 years have been spent near Princeville, Ill.
Preceding him in death, were his mother and father, and his wife Mary, in 1950. Also a stepdaughter, Mrs Opal Terry.
Those remaining to mourn his passing include two daughters: Lois (Mrs James Libbey) of Spring Valley, Ill. and Luelia (Mrs Richard Barron) of Inglewood, Calif. Two sons; Cecil, of Alta, Ill. Elvin of Monica, Ill. and one sister-in-law, Mrs Mattie Reed of Lenox.
There are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr Bouton was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Princeton, Ill. He has been hospitalized these last six months after suffering a stroke. Death came on Friday May 15, 1959 at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 23 days.
