FANNIE PEARL WOODARD

Mrs. Fannie Pearl Driggers Woodard, 74, died Thursday night at Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Woodard Chapel Congregational Methodist Church and the daughter of the late Henry C. Driggers and Ellen Strickland Driggers. Her husband was the late Oscar Ambrose Woodard.

Mrs. Woodard was a lifelong resident of Ware County.

She is survived by six sons, Charles Woodard, A.W. Woodard, Lawrence Woodard, and Glen Woodard, all of Waycross, Jimmy Woodard, Hoboken, and Donald Woodard, Statesboro; five daughters, Mrs. L.C. Strickland, Mrs. J.C. Dowling, Mrs. Eugene Spell, Mrs. Aubrey Jacobs and Miss Nell Woodard, all of Waycross; a brother, Warren Henry Driggers, Waycross; 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Sunday at 11 a.m. at Woodard Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The body will be taken to her residence on Route 2 this afternoon at 4 o'clock. It will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Sunday. Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral for Mrs. Fannie Pearl Driggers Woodard, 74, was held Sunday afternoon at Woodard Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Johnson, the Rev. Hughie Dixon and the Rev. Bud Jernigan officiating.

Pallbearers were Ira Walker, Michael Walker, Jim Woodard, Tim Woodard, A.W. Woodard Jr., Glen Woodard, Oscar Woodard, Charles Oscar Woodard, Jason Woodard, Gene Spell Jr. and Roger Dowling. Miles-Odum Funeral Home was in charge.
