Eloise was the daughter of John Franklin and Sarah Eunice Palmer Bliss. She married Leo C. Graves on Dec. 10, 1938, in Princeville.

Leo survives, along with two daughters, Judith Ann (Art Mayer) Higgs and Janet Sue (Jack) Morlock; two granddaughters, Julie Ann (John) Edwards and Judith Heather (Daniel) McGowan; one grandson, Richard Heath Higgs; and three great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Ann Hoerr and Sean and Sarah McGowan.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Marvin Bliss, Earl S. Bliss and Palmer Bliss.

Eloise and Leo farmed in the Princeville area all their lives.
