Mrs. Joanna H. Myers
Hanover – Mrs. Joanna H. Wehrly Myers, 83, widow of George Leander Myers, died yesterday at 9:40 a.m. at the home of her son, Lloyd L. Myers, 38 Center Street, where she made her home. She was a daughter of the late John D. and Sophia Shue Wehrly.
Mrs. Myers was a member of the Reformed congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Church. Her husband died in 1930.
Surviving, in addition to her son, are: Four daughters, Mrs. John H. Bollinger, Spring Grove RD 2; Mrs. Bertus Meckley, Glen Rock RD 1, and Mrs. Norman Mummert and Mrs. Charles Luckenbaugh, both of Spring Grove RD 1; 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Markel, Glen Rock, and Mrs. Irvin Dubs, Brodbeck.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. with brief rites at her late home and concluding services in St. Jacob's Church. Her pastor, Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Funeral Director William A. Feiser, Carlisle Street.
