Mrs. Irvin V. Dubbs, Near Brodbeck, Dies
Brodbeck - Mrs. Lillie Wehrly Dubbs, wife of Irvin V. Dubbs, died at 3:10 p.m. yesterday at her home, Brodbeck RD 1, after a six-month illness. She was 77.
Mrs. Dubbs, a life-long resident of Codorus Township, had lived in the Brodbeck area for 33 years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church, near here.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Alton W. Dubbs, Brodbeck RD 1, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Markel, Glen Rock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, with her pastor, Rev. George A. Heisey, officiating. Interment will be in Stone Church Cemetery.
