John D. Wehrly
John D. Wehrly, a farmer of Codorus Township, near Brodbeck, this county, died yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock, at the West Side Sanitarium. He was admitted to the institution on Tuesday evening and underwent an operation on Wednesday.
His body was removed yesterday by Undertaker G. W. Geiple, to his morgue at Glen Rock, who will take it today to his late home.
He was 77 years, 11 months, and 28 days old, and is survived by the following children: Mrs. Daniel B. Dubs, Hanover; Mrs. Augustus Wildasin, Smith Station; Mrs. George L. Myers, Brodbeck; David Wehrly, Lineboro, Md.; John W. Wehrly, Mrs. Luther Rohrbaugh and Mrs. Alice S. Markel, all of Glen Rock, and Mrs. Irvin V. Dubs, at home.
The funeral will be held on Monday morning at 9 o’clock. Services at the Stone Church. Interment will be made in adjoining cemetery.
