WILDASIN – On October 14, 1950, at 5:40 a.m., at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Albertus Wildasin, Shippensburg, Sarah Jane Wherley Wildasin, widow of Augustus Wildasin, aged 84 years, 6 months, 19 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Monday, October 16, at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in Stone Church Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the Geiple Funeral Home Sunday evening from 7 to 9.

Mrs. Sarah Wildasin, Former Resident Of Brodbeck, Succumbs

Brodbeck – Mrs. Sarah Jane Wherley Wildasin, widow of Augustus Wildasin and a former resident of this locality, died Saturday at 5:40 a.m. at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Albertus Wildasin, Shippensburg. She was 84 years old. Death was due to complications following a three-week illness.
A member of the Reformed congregation of Stone Church, she is survived by the following: Three sons, Henry J. Wildasin, Hanover; Maurice A. Wildasin, New Richmond, Wis., and J. Albertus Wildasin, with whom she lived; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Maranda Dubbs and Mrs. Joanna Myers, both of Hanover; Mrs. Alice Markel, Glen Rock, and Mrs. Irvin Dubbs, this place.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, followed by interment in Stone Church Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed charge, will officiate.

Sarah J. Wildasin, widow of Augustus Wildasin, was born March 25, 1866, the daughter of John D. and Sophia (Shue) Wehrly, and died at the home of her son in Shippensburg, Pa., October 14, 1950, aged 84 years, 6 months, and 19 days.
Mrs. Wildasin was a faithful member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Evangelical and Reformed Church for almost 70 years. She was a good mother and a kind friend. Her pastor made many visits to her home at Smith's Station, Pa., in the 30 years of his pastorate.
The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, October 16, from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock, Pa. The funeral text was John 15:15. Burial was made in the Stone Church Cemetery.
