Carroll "Call" Johnson, 72, Gravois Mills, died Aug. 18, 1999, at his home. He was born March 20, 1927, in Sioux Falls, S.D., a son of William and Ethel Hetrick Johnson. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a drug store manager. Survivors include: three sons, Craig Johnson, Gravois Mills, Barry Johnson, Yucca Valley, Calif., and Douglas Johnson, Tucson, Ariz.; three daughters, Ann Johnson, Yucca Valley, Debbie Johnson, Seattle, Wash., and Kathleen Hall, Azusa, Calif.; two brothers, Gerald Johnson and William Johnson, both of Sioux Falls; one sister, Wanda Moore, Las Vegas, Nev.; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
No services are planned. The body was cremated under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton. Extended family called him Gabe.
