Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie McGarrh May, who was 87, were held at Milligan Springs Baptist Church last Sunday, November 5 at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Arnold Jacks officiated, with burial following in the church cemetery. Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. May died the previous day at the Kilmichael Hospital. She was a native of Webster County.
Survivors include five sons, Edgar, Arnold, Carrollton, Claudie and Rex, all of Stewart; two daughters, Mrs. Printice Parson and Mrs. Robert Lee Bridges, both of Stewart; a half-brother, L. H. McGarrh, Stewart; a sister, Mrs. Mattie May, Little Rock, Arkansas; 29 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Lonnie McGarrah, B. G. Jacks, Gates Jacks, Max McGarrah, Banks McGarrah, and B. A. Curtis.
