Edgar Lee May, age 76, a retired farmer, of Stewart, died Wednesday night, August 3, 1977, at Webster General Hospital at Eupora, after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Robert L. Bridges and Mrs. Ruth Parson, both of Stewart; four brothers, Arnold May, Carlyn May, Claudy May and Rex May, all of Stewart.

Mr. May was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, near Stewart, and a World War II Army Veteran.

Final services were held at Milligan Springs Baptist Church, Friday, August 5, 1977, at 2 P.M. with Rev. Howard Davis officiating, assisted by Rev. Walter Yeager. Burial was in Milligan Springs Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Kenny May, Danny Parsons, Bennie May, Tim Bridges, James May and Phillip May.
