May, a retired farmer from Stewart and a Webster County native, died Friday, June 7, at Hinds General Hospital in Jackson after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sue M. Geotes of Winona; a son, James A. May of Jackson; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Parsons and Mrs. Gussie Bridges, both of Stewart; three brothers, Rex May, Claudy May and Carlyn May, all of Stewart; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a member of Milligan Springs Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Mayron May, Phillip L. May, Benny May, Mike Parsons, Lonzo Peacock and D.L. May. Oliver Funeral Home handled arrangements.
