Lillian Marie Guettler (nee Heitkamp), 92, Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Carver, died January 9, 1999, at home.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, January 12, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Fort Pierce, Florida.
She was born May 28, 1906 in Carver. She married Vincent Guettler, of Cologne, on November 18, 1926, in Brunswick, Georgia. They had 13 children together. Lillian was a member of the St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; and son, Paul L. Guettler.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Langel of Fort Pierce, Pat Shaughnessy of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, Jeanie Lattner of Fort Pierce, Dorothy Guettler of Adrian, Michigan, Dolores Fortnash of Bushnell, Florida, Teresa Mock of Belle Glade, Florida, Margaret Wiencek of Deltona, Florida, Kathleen Coney of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; sons, Gerald F. Guettler of Bushnell, Florida, Edward P. Guettler of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Bernard Guettler of Apex, North Carolina, Karl V. Guettler of Fort Pierce; 46 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Interment was at the White City Cemetery.

Mrs. Guettler, a homemaker, was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

Services: A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Anastasia Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home.
