Obituary from the Trinity Lutheran Church program dated Tuesday, September 4, 1984:

Henry William Heitkamp was born August 3, 1903, to Henry F. and Emma (nee Blume) Heitkamp in Jordan, Minnesota. He was baptized at St. Paul's Church in Jordan on August 30, 1903, and later confirmed that baptismal faith on March 24, 1918, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carver.

Preceding Henry in death were his parents and surviving him are his brothers, Rueben (of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Carver) and Harry (of Carver), and his sister, Mrs. Lillian (Vincent) Guettler (Fort Pierce, Florida), various nieces and nephews.

Henry engaged in farming most of his life as well as helped in the building of the Church parsonage and was a member of the Men's Club of Trinity.

During the past few years Henry experience failing health and was placed in the Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. It was at that place that he died on Friday, August 31, 1984, having reached the age of 81 years and 28 days.

Funeral service, Tuesday, September 4, 1984, 1:00 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carver, the Reverend John T. Stern officiating. Interment in Spirit Hill Cemetery, Jordan, Minnesota.
