Married on October 25, 1917 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Chaska, Carver County, Minnesota.

Harry Henry Heitkamp was born on February 25, 1892 to Henry F. and Louise (nee Blume) Heitkamp in Jordan, Minnesota. He was baptized on March 27, 1892 at St. Paul's Church in Jordan, and later confirmed that baptismal faith on April 8, 1906 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carver.

Harry married Margaret Hubel at St. John's Lutheran Church in Chaska on October 25, 1917. To that marriage the Lord granted four children: Eleanor, Leila, Lucille, and Dale.

Preceding Harry in death were his parents; his wife; his brothers: Edward, Otto, Walter and Henry, Jr.; his sister, Mrs. Hattie Galles and his daughter, Mrs. Leila Koehnen.

Surviving him are his brother, Rueben of Waconia; his sister, Mrs. Lillian (Vincent) Guettler of Fort Pierce, Florida; his children, Mrs. Eleanor Kopecky of Chaska, Mrs. Lucille (Lester) Kopecky of St. Paul, and Dale of Bel Air, Maryland; along with six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Harry lived his entire life in the Jordon-Carver area, and worked at farming, blacksmithing and driving a school bus. He attended Lutheran churches in the Jordan, Belle Plaine and finally Carver communities and was a member of the Trinity's Men's Club. During the last few months he lived at the Friendship Manor in Shakopee, where it was on Friday, March 29, that he was taken to his Lord at the age of 93 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Casket Bearers: Thomas Koehnen, Vincent Wherley, Jr., Elmer MacNabb, Eugene Schlegelmilch, Jerry Lewis, Loren Grapentine. The officiant: Reverand John T. Stern. The organist: Mrs. Naomi Engler.

The members of the Heitkamp family invite all those here to come to a lunch served in the Church basement following the committal service at St. John's Cemetery in Chaska.

Services for Harry H. Heitkamp, 93, of Carver, who died March 29, 1985, at Friendship Manor Nursing Home, Shakopee, were held April 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carver.

The Reverand John T. Stern officiated at the services, with interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Chaska.

Pallbearers were Thomas Koehnen, Vincent Wherley, Jr., Elmer MacNabb, Eugene Schlegelmilch, Jerry Lewis and Loren Grapentine.

Mr. Heitkamp was born February 25, 1892, at Jordan, the son of Henry and Louise Heitkamp. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jordan, and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carver.
