I started working on my ancestry about 4 years ago, and found out I loved researching and finding my ancestors, I have spent countless hours. That led me to find a grave, and have been a member for 3 years, Now I am totally hooked, maybe that is why a friend calls me the the cemetery sleuth . I find it very peaceful and everyone there is very quiet. I enjoy walking around and taking a photo of the headstones, and posting them to the person to whom they belong.
If you are a friend or relative of any of my memorials and know additional information I don't have, please suggest an edit and I will approve it right away. Sometimes All I have to go by this what is listed on the headstone.
I was asked "why do you do this" and my answer was "everyone in here has a family that wants to see where they are, if they live to far away to come"
I now have a new hobby. My other interest include reading, quilting, hiking in the woods and spending time with my family.
I am researching the Verbridge (verBrugge), DeLooze, (Dutch desent) Congdon, (English), Tryon, Hunt.
