Isaac R. Smith, husband of Ruth A. Liskey Smith, 741 S. Forge St., Palmyra, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1983, in the Hershey Medical Center. He was 72. Born in Port Republic, Va., he was a son of the late Noah and Laura Rodeffer Smith. Since his retirement from Hershey Foods, he logged more than 3,000 hours of volunteer service to the Palmyra Brethren Home. He was a member of the Palmyra Church of the Brethren where he was a deacon and a member of the Frank S. Carper Sunday School class. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Dr. Wilbur Smith, Mission Viejo, Calif.; Glenn Smith, Baltimore; Kenneth Smith, Heyward, Calif. and Dean Smith, Baltimore; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Harry A.
