George H. Bell

George H. Bell, of Reynoldsville, died at 1:40 pm Thursday following an illness of five years.

He was born April 1, 1884 in Glasgow, Scotland, the son of James and Marion (Hart) Bell and was married in 1907 to the former Jesse Laird, who survives him.

He was a member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian Church and the Elks. The late Mr. Bell lived in Reynoldsville for the past 34 years and was a retired miner.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Marion Zarick, Mrs. Dorothy Whitmore, Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Courtland, Ohio; James, Warren, Ohio; John, George, Murel, Dwight, and Allan, all of Reynoldsville.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Jean Heffner, Buffalo N.Y. and Mrs. Mary Wilson, of Perris, Calif.

Friends may call a the family home after 4 pm today and until time of services on Sunday at 2 pm. Rev. Warren K. Martin will officiate and burial will follow in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Desire.
