Mrs. A.J. Heffner Dies on Sunday at Big Soldier
Mrs. Margaret Heffner, of Soldier, wife of Arthur J. Heffner, passed away at her home early Sunday morning, as the result of uraemic poisoning, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Heffner had lived all of her life in the Soldier community and was a woman of unusually high attributes, holding the esteem of a large circle of friends.
She was 41 years of age, and is survived by her husband, Arthur; her mother, Mrs. James Bell, of Adrian, and two children, Arthur and Marion, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: George Bell, of Reynoldsville; James Bell, of Long Island, N.Y.; Mary Wilson, of Long Island, N.Y.; and Mrs. Jean Heffner, of Adrian.
Funeral services will be held at the home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Rhodes, of Sykesville, with burial at Desire.
