Funeral services for Sarah Mary Frances Bennett, 68, who died in a Turlock hospital following a brief illness, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A native of Texas, she had been a resident of the Hickman area for more than 43 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred E. Bennett, Hickman; four sons, James Bennett of Hickman; Don Bennett of Waterford, Lonnie Bennett of Hilmar and Howard Bennett of Ceres; eight brothers and sisters, including C.B. and W.D. Howard, both of Denair, J.L. Howard of Hickman and Henry H. and E.L. Howard, both of Modesto; 28 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
