ALFRED E. BENNETT --- A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Alfred Elmo Bennett, 78, who died Tuesday in Turlock.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.

A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Bennett had lived in Modesto since 1981. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by five sons, James of Hickman, Donald of Denair, Lonnie of Hilmar, Howard of Modesto and Ronnie Bennett of Turlock; two daughters, Zora Nelson of Turlock and Lennie Worsham of Modesto; 30 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
