PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Ben F. Williamson, 94, of Huddy, died Saturday, March 31, 1990 in the Pikeville Methodist Hospital.
Born Jan. 17, 1896, in Pike County, he was the son of the late John B. and Polly Ann (Brown) Williamson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Judy (Cochran) Williamson; a son, Rell Williamson; a daughter, Judy Magdaline Williamson; and six brothers.
He was a Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors: wife, Flora (Maynard) Williamson; sons, Roscoe Williamson, Sidney, Drew Williamson, Columbia, Tenn., John, Donnie, Danny and David Williamson, all of Huddy, Paul Williamson, McAndrews, Larry Williamson, Hardy; daughters, Ruth Ratliff, Taylor, Mich., Bertha Holland, Wyandotte, Mich., Christine Ford, Dayton, Ohio, Brenda James, Hardy, Kathy Hackney, McAndrews; brothers, Jack Williamson, Sidney; Garland Cochran, Williamson, W.Va.; 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 1990, Rogers Funeral Home at Belfry, the Revs. Buddy Kendrick and John C. Hatfield officiating. Burial in Mountain View Memory Gardens at Huddy. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation: Rogers Funeral Home, anytime today.
