Rush Williamson

Rush Williamson, 76, of Sidney, Ky., died Tuesday at his home.
Born May 2, 1901 in Pike County, Ky., he was the son of the late John B. and Polly Ann (Brown) Williamson.
He was a retired merchant and a member of the Dix Fork Regular Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Susan (Cochran) Williamson of Sidney, and the following children: Mrs. Opal Mullins of Lima, Ohio; Mrs. Casel Deskins, of Tempe, Ariz.; Mrs. Roberta Carrithers of Mt. Morris, Mich.; Mrs. Maxine Jones of Warren, Mich.; Mrs. Norma Williamson of Mich.; Mrs. Anna Jane Smith of Ypsilanti, Mich.; John Williamson of Taylor, Mich.; Zack Williamson of Mt. Clemons, Mich.; Kenneth of Dearborn Heights, Mich.; and Jeff of Sidney.
Also surviving are five brothers, George of Canada, Ky.; Ben of Huddy, Ky.; Johnny and Jack of Huddy; and Orville of Adex, Ky.; a half-brother, Garland Cochran of Sidney; 38 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home are incomplete.

Funeral services for Rush Williamson, 76, who died Tuesday will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. with the ministers, Ernest Cochran, Charlie Johnson and Berlin Thornsbury officiating.
Burial will follow in the Williamson Cemetery on Dix Fork at Sidney, Ky.
The body lies in state at the Rogers Funeral Home where services will be held tonight at 7 p.m.
