TYNGSBORO - Matilda A. (Roberts) (Patenaude) Gosselin, 82, of Tyngsboro died yesterday, Jan. 22, at the town and Country Nursing Home in Lowell. She was married to the late Harvey Gosselin and Alphonse Patenaude. Born in Tyngsboro on January 28, 1915, daughter of the late Silas and Mary (DeCarteret) Roberts, she lived most of her life in Tyngsboro, graduating form Tyngsboro Grammar School, and Lowell Vocational School. Before her marriage she worked in the nylon factory in South Barre. She attended the North Chelmsford Congregational Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond J. and Dorothy (Sherman) Patenaude of Tyngsboro; a daughter and son-in-law Karen L. and Alonzo Ray of Tyngsboro; a sister Hazel Harrigan of New Ipswhich N.H.; eight grandchildren, Mark Ray, Timothy Ray, and Christine Patenaude, all of Tyngsboro, Scott Ray, Raymond Patenaude Jr. and Michael Patenaudeall of Nashua N.H., Brian Ray of Epping N.H., and Michelle Philbrook of Litchfield N.H.; and 10 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Howard Roberts of South Barre, Herman Roberts of Westford, Ruth Hall of Lowell and Midlred M. Patenaude of North Chlelmsford.
