Lida was my great grandmother. My mother would tell me that Lida was a firecracker. I think she was just simply "a handful". When Lida passed away, the family found MANY cakes in the basement. Lida must have baked these cakes and put them in the basement to cool and then forgot about them. My mom and I always got the biggest laugh out of this story.
