Rites For Milton Peters Will Be Held Tuesday

Funeral services for Milton Peters, who died Saturday at the home of his father, J. L. Peters, at Tipton, will be conducted from the father’s home at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning by Rev. J. P. Edgar of Homer. Interment will be made in the G. A. R. cemetery at Homer. Mr. Peters died from erysipelas, caused by injuries he received when he was assaulted at Danville recently. The decedent was born May 31, 1873 and, besides his father, leaves eight brothers, two sisters and one daughter, the latter being Mrs. Wakefield of homer. His wife and a son and two sisters preceded him in death. (transcribed by Homer Historical Society)
