St. Joseph, Ill., Sept.20.—(Special.)—Grant Peters, lifelong resident of this vicinity, died yesterday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna Peters, after long suffering from cancer.
Mr. Peters was born February 12, 1880, surviving him, besides his mother, are five sisters and two brothers, Ethel Stevenson of Minneapolis, Pearl Leintz of Onarga, Lida Overman of Westville, Ind., Emma McElwee of Danville, Lou Stayton of Danville, Newton Peters of Sumner and Fred of Chicago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with Rev. R. N. Lawless of Georgetown in charge. Burial will be made in Mount Hope cemetery, Sidney.
