Lawrence J. Overman, 86, Westfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
He was born Oct. 31, 1904, in Hamilton County, the son of Adrian J. and Lida (Peters) Overman.
He had been a lifetime resident of Hamilton County.
Mr. Overman was a graduate of Westfield High School and a member of Westfield Friends church. He had been employed at Firestone Industrial Products Co. of Noblesville for 19 years, retiring in 1969. He is survived by his wife, Gladys M. (Williams) Overman of Westfield; on son, Adrian Overman of Fort Myers, Fla.; one daughter, Agnes Breedlove, Lebanon; one brother, Douglas Overman, Bradenton, Fla.; four grandchildren and one niece.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McMullan Funeral Home in Westfield. The Rev. Douglas Shoemaker will officiate.
Friends may call 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Summit Lawn Cemetery.
