"Catharine Shaar, widow of John Shaar, died at her residence at Rothsville on Tuesday evening, in the 67th year of her age. For many years she was an invalid and last week had a stroke of paralysis, which hurried her on to her death. She leaves six children. Funeral will take place on Saturday at 9:30 A. M. in the Lutheran church, interment to be made in Grube's graveyard nearby."
