Mr. Peter Adams, a resident of the lower end of Main street, died from the effect of a stroke of paralysis last Friday morning, in the 70th year of his age. He was the father of Mrs. John Diehm of this place, Michael Adams, living near Lititz, Mrs. Brunner at Reinhold's station, E. B. Adams of Dayton, Ohio, and a blind son living at home with his mother who more that [sic] the rest will miss the daily walks and talks of his father. The funeral took place at New Haven on Monday, Rev. W. H. Lewars officiating."
