Ruby Gertrude Dick, 95, of Coffman Nursing Home, Hagerstown and formerly of Spielman Rd., Williamsport, died Mon., Nov. 27, 2007 at the nursing home.
Born June 19, 1911, in Sharpsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Della Mae Drenner Renner and was the last surviving child of this couple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Leroy Dick, in 1980.
She was a 1931 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Downsville Christian Church, where she previously taught Sunday School.
She is survived by two daughters one in Hagerstown and one in Lanham, Md., one son, Charles (Sonny) Dick of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard L. Dick; four sisters, Mary Alice More, Martha L. Miller, Orpha B. Spielman and D. Lucille Renner; one brother, Will C. Renner; and one granddaughter Ruby Shannon.
Services will be Fri. at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. E. Reese Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
