Sharpsburg – Orpha Bondel Spielman, 58, of Rt. 1, died at the Washington County Hospital Monday. Born in Sharpsburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Della Drenner Renner.
She was a member of the Sharpsburg Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her husband, Paul P. Spielman; one daughter, Miss Ann Marie Spielman, at home; one son, Hal R. Spielman of Sharpsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Moore and Mrs. Martha Miller, both of Sharpsburg, and Mrs. Ruby Dick of Downsvile; one brother, William Renner of Sharpsburg; and one grandson.
Services will be held from the Sharpsburg Church of the Brethren Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Leroy Wastler will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg. The family will receive friends at the Bast Funeral Home in Boonsboro Wednesday evening from 7 to 9. There will be a viewing at the church one hour prior to the service.
