DAYHOFF, Carrie Emma age 91 of Hamilton, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She was born in Highfield, MD on February 15, 1923 to Harry and Elsie (Willard) Baker. In 1942 Carrie married Harry Smith, he passed away in 1958. On March 18, 1960 she married Mervin Dayhoff; deceased April 24, 2013. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Susan) Smith, Cathy (Brice) Petree, Roy Dayhoff and Bonnie Dayhoff; grandchildren, Brandy (James) Haney, Melanie (Eddie) Shriner, Carrie (fiance Stanley Clabaugh) Mayne, Craig (Stacy) Mayne, Tara (Jeff) Kluttz, Dennis Brian (Brittany) Smith, Gregory Smith, Brian Smith and Susan (Brian) Reaver; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Jamie, James, Ethan, Noah, Haley, Layne, Aiden, Gaven, Dennis Brian Jr., Kayla, Shane, Brianna, Lizbeth, Patrick, Nicholas, Elaina and Lauren . She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Smith; siblings, Kenneth Baker, Harold Baker, Merle Baker, Edith Rock and Evelyn Harbaugh-Woodring; son in law, Paul Jones. Visitation will be 11am, until time of service (12noon), Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, with Pastor Ronald Smith officiating.
