Notice to all who send edits: I just copy and paste.

From Find A Grave "No Warranty. We do not extend any express warranties or representations as to the quality and accuracy of the Content,"

In the future I am not responsible for inaccurate data from edits sent to me. Please assume that nothing is correct as most people will not send documentation. When someone does, I DO add accreditation . Please recheck everything.

Most of the edits I receive have nothing to do with where the person is buried for the Find a Grave site, like wedding dates and Middle names. Many hours are spent by me trying to verify. If you want prompt service on processing your edits and correct information on each memorial, send documentation.

Proof for each edit in the form of a transcribed document can be sent through the Suggest a Correction if you want to keep FAG accurate.

Find a Grave quideline. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives only within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Non-direct relatives relatives such as aunts, uncles, cousins and beyond are not required transfers. " Those are the FAG guidelines and I follow them. I need PROOF of relationship to transfer.

I FOLLOW these rules in my own requests.

Please realize that Find a Grave is voluntary. We are NOT paid to visit cemeteries, many which are many miles from where we live. We use our own equipment and spend our OWN money to honor those who have gone before us.

Find a Grave permits us up to 21 day to process edits.

When I receive a bunch of edits on the weekend or on holidays, I am often with family where I should be. The living should always come first.

Thanks for your cooperation.
