CHARLES W. POWELL DIES;
FUNERAL TO BE FRIDAY
Charles W. Powell died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leona Winzer, 1014 Jefferson St., this morning at the age of 84 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anna Clark Powell; five children, Guy Powell of Albany, Oregon, Ernest Powell of St. Charles, Mrs. Owen Newcomb of Estes Park, Colorado, Mrs. Ernest Illum of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Leona Winzer of St. Charles; ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Arthur C. Bane Funeral Home, 620 Jefferson St., on Friday with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
