One of her favorite past-times was cooking. Anytime "Neat" brought food to a family reunion, it would always be the favorite of the family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed other activities including being a member of the Home Demonstration Club. She was also a fine seamstress, and enjoyed making crafts. Her home always looked like a picture in a magazine. She served Meals on Wheels for several years.
Funeral services were held in Plains, TX, with burial in the Plains Cemetery.
