EVELYN TAMAGNI WED TO
A.J. SNODGRASS

Pretty Ceremony Performed At
the Bride's Home Last Sunday

Last Sunday there was a very pretty wedding at the Tamagni home in the Tucker District, when Evelyn, the youngest daughter of Supervisor and Mrs. Charles Tamagni, and Albert J. Snodgrass were united in marriage by Justice Louis D. Vasconi of St. Helena. The bride entered the room with her father and her sister, Emma Wolleson as matron of honor. They were met by the groom and his brother, Revis Snodgrass, as best man, under a canopy of crepe paper. Little Charles M. Wolleson, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The wedding march was played by Dick Tamagni, brother of the bride, on his accordion, and he dispersed soft music during the ceremony.

The bride is the second daughter of Supervisor and Mrs. Charles Tamagni, and after graduating from the Calistoga grammar and high schools, attended the San Jose Teachers' College, until she was called home by illness in her family. She is a young lady of kindly disposition and is loved by those who know her best.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Snodgrass, is a native of Oregon and has many friends among those with whom he associates.

After congratulations were offered, all partook of a splendid dinner, at which there were thirty-seven relatives and a few friends were seated at one long table in the spacious living room. The wedding cake, baked and decorated by the bride's youngest brother, Harry, was a three-tier affair with a miniature bride and groom on the top. The entire height of the cake was about eighteen inches, and was a beautiful thing (and good, too) and would have made a professional "take notice."

A pleasant time was spent doing justice to the good things provided; speeches were made and all drank to the health and happiness of the bride and groom. The tables were then cleared away and the guests viewed the wedding gifts, which were numerous, being beautiful as well as useful. Being practical, they did not go on a honeymoon. As the groom has a job, they proceeded to their home at the head of the valley, which had been made ready for them, with the assistance of the bride's father, the groom's mother, sister and brothers. On Monday evening, they were charivaried by their many friends and the best wishes of the community for health, happiness and prosperity go with the happy young couple.
