CALISTOGA — Lawrence Arthur (Dick) Tamagni, 58, member of a noted Napa County family, died yesterday of a heart attack.
Mr. Tamagni helped operate the family dairy ranch near Calistoga for 43 years. His father, Charles Tamagni, was a Napa County supervisor for 32 years.
Surviving besides his father are four brothers, Frank Tamagni, Elvin Tamagni, Walter Tamagni and Harry Tamagni, all of Calistoga; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Snodgrass and Mrs. Emma Wolleson, both of Calistoga; and 44 nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tamagni was a native of the Knights Valley area, just across the Sonoma County line from Calistoga.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Simic Funeral Home in Calistoga with Masonic Lodge 233 officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot in the St. Helena Public Cemetery.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Native Sons of the Golden West.

Lawrence Tamagni, fifth son of Supervisor and Mrs. Charles Tamagni, took unto himself a wife last Sunday. Mr. Tamagni claimed as his bride, Miss Isabelle Osmund, of Calistoga.
The wedding took place at the parish residence of the St. Helena Catholic church last Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Father Power officiating. Mrs. A.J. Snodgrass, sister of the goom [sic] and James Hughes, brother of the bride, attended the young couple.
Immediately after the wedding the newlyweds left by automobile for Southern California where they are spending their honeymoon. Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs. Tamagni will take up their home at Calistoga.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Cole, of Calistoga. She has lived in the upvalley town for several years.
Mr. Tamagni assists his father on the latter's farm near Calistoga. He is a young man of strict integrity.
