She was born on March 13, 1915 at rural Cuba, a daughter of Lee and Nellie (Kaler) Deakin. She married Ernest. W. "Doc" Nebergall at Kahoka, Missouri on Oct 3, 1936. He survives along with one son, Alan of Lewistown and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Phillips of Flora. Three brothers survive; Alan Deakin of Cuba; Gerald Deakin of Galesburg and Robert Deakin of Atkinson. Three sisters also survive; Mrs. Margaret "Hazel" Henderson of rural Smithfield, Mrs. Shirley Wardell of Ellisville and Mras. Mabel Graham of Fiatt.
She and her husband were the managers of the Methodist Conference Grounds near Lewistown for 30 years , retiring in 1978.
