She married Ervin Plato Hoyle and their children were: Helen, Elizabeth, Graham, Ervin Plato, William Kelly, Carroll, and James.
Grace was a sweet and loving person who was well-known for her beautiful flowers. She loved her garden, particularly spring bulbs and day lilies.
Memories from her great granddaughter on her birthday anniversary:
" Loved that woman and going to her house. Those flowers! And that crepe myrtle I climbed. Watching it storm in a glider on the back porch. The coolness of the basement kitchen. The rock stairway from the back yard to the front. Her mowing the grass in her flowered dress. Walking to the store with her in her dress and heels. The hallway telephone table. Her crewel. I have more memories there than anywhere. Not sure why. Happy birthday, GaGa. See you in Heaven."
Her granddaughter:
" My Mama Grace ! I spent every weekend with her & Daddy Hoyle until my teen years. I remember all (my daughter) remembers plus her wonderful breakfasts with real butter for toast, loved Saturday nights watching Sid Caesar & Jackie Gleason eating popcorn & laughing until our sides hurt ! Loved the neighbors , Ezelle & Clyde Williams, Lucy Duckworth, Winnie Garrison, Catherine , Susan & Claude Russell, so many more! Being an only child I loved when aunts, uncles & their children came from out of town for weeks. So many more memories I could go on forever . Happy Birthday Mama Grace. I loved you so much !!!"
