He was survived by his wife, Ruby Moses Hoyle;one daughter; his sister Helen Hoyle Edision; four brothers: Graham, Carroll, Ervin P., andJames B. Hoyle. He was also survived by one granddaughter.
Services were held at the First Methodist Church of Morganton with the Rev. Jackson W. Honeycutt officiating.
