Little Elizabeth was the daughter of Grace and Plato Hoyle. Hers was the first grave in the Houck/Hoyle family plot.
Her obituary from The News-Herald August 2, 1917:
DEATH OF LITTLE GIRL
"Elizabeth Houk Hoyle, the 16 months old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. E.P. Hoyle, died Saturday July 28 at the home of her parents. The funeral service was conducted from the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. A.C. Swofford and interment made at the cemetery. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents."

Elizabeth's mother held her daughter's little casket on her lap during the graveside services.
